The ThinkVision P40WD-40 features a 39.7-inch IPS Black panel with a resolution of 5120 x 2160 and a 21:9 aspect ratio. It covers 98% of the DCI-P3 color gamut and supports improved contrast through IPS Black technology. Lenovo designed the 2500R curved display to create an immersive experience for creative work, multitasking, and entertainment.

The ThinkVision P40WD-40 sports eKVM and integrated networking, letting a laptop connect through just one cable while instantly accessing power, Ethernet, and peripherals. It equips multiple connectivity options, including HDMI 2.1, DisplayPort 1.4 input and output, a 2.5 GbE Ethernet port, two USB-C 3.2 Gen 1 ports, and five USB-A ports.

The monitor comes with a Thunderbolt 4 downstream port for daisy-chaining additional displays. It also features a Thunderbolt 4 upstream port that supports DisplayPort 1.4 Alt Mode and delivers up to 140W of USB Power Delivery.

Additionally, the monitor introduces Lenovo’s DisplayPort Power Saving feature. This technology uses panel replay to dynamically adjust refresh rates without reducing visual quality.

The ThinkVision P40WD-40 also becomes the first desktop monitor to support a 24Hz to 120Hz variable refresh rate. Lenovo claims the display consumes up to 34% less power than the Energy Star 8.0 standard requires.

In terms of ergonomics, the ultrawide monitor offers flexible adjustments that include 155mm of height, ±45° swivel, and a tilt range of +23.5 to −5 degrees.

On the safety side, the panel features an anti-glare coating and is certified by TÜV Rheinland for hardware-level low blue light. It also carries Eye Comfort 5-Star and TCO 10 certifications, ensuring reduced eye strain and compliance with sustainability standards.

In related news, Lenovo has also launched the Legion Go 2 handheld with upgraded power and battery life, alongside the Yoga Tab with Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 and the Idea Tab Plus powered by Dimensity 6400.
