Recent reports have revealed that the upcoming Honor phones with model numbers MEY-AN00 and MEP-AN00 belong to the Honor 500 series, which will debut later this month in China. Both models have already appeared on China’s 3C certification platform, and recently the MEY-AN00 edition was spotted with the Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 chip on Geekbench. In a new development, the MEP-AN00 variant has surfaced on Geekbench.
Honor 500 Pro Geekbench listing
The Geekbench listing reveals that the MEP-AN00 Honor phone is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite, which can be identified through its part number SM8750. As per reports, this device is the Honor 500 Pro, whereas the previously seen MEY-AN00 equipped with the Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 is the standard Honor 500.
The Honor 500 Pro’s Geekbench listing reveals that it has 16GB of RAM and runs Android 16. It scored 3100 and 9463 points in the single-core and multi-core tests of Geekbench, respectively.
Honor has already confirmed that the Honor 500 Pro will be available in multiple configurations, such as 12GB+256GB, 12GB+512GB, 16GB+512GB, and 16GB+1TB. It will be sold in shades like Aquamarine, Starlight Pink, Obsidian Black, and Moonlight Silver.
The Honor 500 Pro is expected to feature a 6.55-inch OLED that produces a 1.5K resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. For photography, it may feature a 50-megapixel selfie camera and a 200-megapixel Samsung HP3 + 12-megapixel (ultra-wide) + 50-megapixel (Sony IMX858, 3x periscope) triple camera unit.
The 500 Pro could be equipped with an 8,000mAh battery with 100W wired and 50W wireless charging support. It is expected to come with other specs, such as an ultrasonic in-screen fingerprint sensor, Honor’s C1+ RF chip and E2 energy efficiency chip.
Honor is yet to confirm the Honor 500 series launch date, but reports suggest that it may debut on Nov. 24 in China.
