Xiaomi is gradually widening the scope of its Android 16-based HyperOS testing program, now adding support for around 16 more devices. The latest phase includes a mix of smartphones, tablets, and foldables.
According to information shared by XiaomiTime, the number of devices enrolled in the Android 16 HyperOS beta has reached roughly 27. However, a closer look reveals many of these are regional variants of the same models. Still, it’s a sign that Xiaomi is preparing a broad rollout of its latest software.

Here’s the new devices getting the Android 16-based HyperOS update
The current HyperOS test build carries the version number 2.0.250428.1 and is being pushed to top-tier devices. However, specific features or changes in this release haven’t been detailed yet. As it stands, Xiaomi hasn’t disclosed much about what’s new in this iteration of HyperOS or how closely it aligns with Google’s own Android 16 beta.
The new batch of supported devices includes the Xiaomi MIX Flip, Xiaomi 15 Ultra, and POCO F7 Ultra, among others. Tablets like the Xiaomi Pad 7 Pro are also part of the program. The testing spans multiple regions, including China, Europe, India, Indonesia, Russia, and Taiwan.

The testing is currently limited to premium devices, but Xiaomi is expected to broaden access to mid-range and older models in the coming months. As usual, there’s no official timeline for a stable release yet, but the expansion suggests internal development is progressing steadily.
