Ninja’s FlexFlame propane BBQ has finally launched in the UK after nearly a year of US exclusivity.
It’s the brand’s first gas‑powered outdoor cooker, combining five cooking methods under one lid. That versatility sets it apart from many traditional barbecues. The FlexFlame joins Ninja’s growing outdoor lineup, which already includes the Woodfire grill and the Electric Outdoor Oven. Both earned strong reviews for performance and design, and the FlexFlame looks set to continue that momentum.
UK buyers can now order the FlexFlame directly from Ninja’s website for £999. The price matches the $999 tag in the US, where the BBQ has already proved popular.
The main draw is its cooking flexibility. The FlexFlame supports grilling, smoking, griddling, roasting, and pizza making. Optional accessories expand its use even further, with add‑ons like griddle plates, a pizza stone and peel, a folding rack, and grease tray liners.
Its performance comes from Ninja’s CyclonicHeat‑iQ system. It’s a system that blends convection airflow, propane flame control, and Woodfire technology. A built-in fan circulates heat evenly, helping food cook quickly and consistently. The BBQ can preheat to 315°C in as little as ten (10) minutes.

As for the controls, they sit pretty on the right‑hand side, giving easy access to cooking functions, temperature, and flame levels. Just like the Woodfire range, users can add pellets to infuse food with authentic barbecue flavour.
The FlexFlame’s arrival in the UK highlights Ninja’s push into outdoor cooking. While the Woodfire catered to electric grilling fans, the FlexFlame targets traditional BBQ users who want propane power with modern convenience. Its multi‑function design also appeals to home chefs looking for more than basic grilling.
However, make no mistake. At £999, the FlexFlame sits firmly in the premium category. Yet its versatility and performance could justify the price for buyers who want a single device to handle multiple cooking styles. With accessories available separately, the system can expand to suit different needs.
One thing is for sure: the wait is over for Ninja’s British fans. The FlexFlame offers a high‑end alternative to conventional gas BBQs, combining the company’s tech‑driven approach with outdoor cooking tradition.
