Everything coming to HBO Max in March

HBO Max is taking us for quite an exciting ride in March. Not only is the streamer dropping a slew of hit movies from the past on us, but it’s also presenting us with some appetizing debuts of new series, films, and documentaries, one of which feels like a giant belated Valentine’s Day present for Big Lebowski fans.

Viewers should be down for anything come March 1, because that’s when the platform’s most anticipated show, DTF St. Louis, drops. The limited series is about an apathetic love triangle that leads to murder. Jason Bateman, David Harbour, Linda Cardellini, Peter Sarsgaard, and Richard Jenkins star. The beginning of the month will also see the debut of Steve Carell’s new comedy series Rooster, which also features Scrubs’ John C. McGinley, then by mid-March, Lisa Kudrow’s The Comeback returns for season 3.

Documentary-wise, buckle up. On March 10, Fukushima: A Nuclear Nightmare debuts with the story about Japan’s 9.0-magnitude earthquake that unleashed a devastating tsunami. It explores a lot more than just the quake and the wave, which is why you’ll want to watch. Next up is a docuseries treat for Lebowski fans, so get your White Russians ready. Born to Bowl is taking us inside the prismatic world of professional bowling by chronicling 5 of the sport’s biggest stars. They don’t roll on Shabbos, though.

Finally, in addition to cinematic hits such as Little Miss Sunshine, Everything Everywhere All at Once, the must-see Daniel Radcliffe movie Swiss Army Man, and the Spider-Man and Final Destination franchises, you can expect two new movies. Fackham Hall is a parody of Downton Abbey meets Airplane! and Monty Python, while John Wick fans can rejoice in the streaming debut of From the World of John Wick: Ballerina. Oh, and don’t forget that March Madness is happening, and your road to the Elite Eight starts right here.
