Huawei Enjoy 90 Pro Max set to launch with March 23, tipped to pack Kirin 8-series chip, 8,500mAh battery

Huawei has confirmed that its spring product launch event will take place on March 23 in China. The event is expected to introduce new smartphones under the Enjoy series, including the Huawei Enjoy 90 Pro Max and the Huawei Enjoy 90 Plus, along with other ecosystem products.

Huawei Enjoy 90 series launch confirmed for March 23

The Huawei Enjoy 90 Pro Max images shared in promotional material reveal that the phone will feature a narrow bezel display with a centrally placed punch hole camera. The rear panel includes a large circular camera module, a design approach that appears similar to recent Huawei flagship phones. The device is also expected to run HarmonyOS and is likely to focus on long battery life.

According to reports, the Enjoy 90 Pro Max will be powered by a Kirin 8 series processor, although the exact chipset has not been confirmed yet. Speculation suggests that it could use either the Kirin 8000 or Kirin 8020 platform. The Kirin 8020 is said to feature a Taishan architecture CPU combined with a Maliang 920C GPU.

The phone is tipped to include a large battery rated at around 8500mAh, which could make it one of the biggest batteries in this segment. The display is expected to be a 6.84 inch 1.5K OLED LTPS panel. Storage variants may include 8GB paired with 128GB, 256GB and 512GB options.

Meanwhile, the Enjoy 90 Plus is expected to arrive with a 6.7-inch LCD screen supporting a 90Hz refresh rate and a 6620mAh battery. The device is also likely to feature a Kirin 8000 series chip and multiple color options, including white, blue and a finish called Starry Fruit.
