Baseus has unveiled a new budget-friendly pair of earbuds, the TWS 1 Youth Edition, in the Chinese market. They are currently available on JD.com at a special introductory price of just 72 yuan (around $10).

The Baseus TWS 1 Youth Edition earbuds feature a 10mm dynamic driver for immersive audio, dynamic bass enhancement with a three-channel airflow system for better low-frequency response, and 3D spatial sound effects for a wider soundstage.
The earbuds also use dual microphones with AI noise reduction to enhance call quality. The microphones reduce background noise, such as wind and traffic sounds, while isolating the user’s voice for clearer conversations.
In terms of design, each earbud weighs just 3.3 grams, featuring a water-drop design for a secure fit and reduced pressure. They also have an IP55 rating, making them suitable for workouts and outdoor use.
The earbuds feature Bluetooth 6.0, which improves connection stability and efficiency. Baseus added low-latency technology that reduces lag to 60ms, making the earbuds somewhat suitable for gaming and video playback. The earbuds also support dual-device pairing, which allows users to connect them to two devices simultaneously.
Battery life reaches 7 hours per charge, and the charging case extends the total playback time to 40 hours. The earbuds support fast charging, providing 1.5 hours of playback with just 10 minutes of charging. The case charges via a USB-C port and takes about two hours for a full recharge.
Baseus also included touch controls on the earbuds, allowing users to manage playback, answer calls, and activate voice assistants.
