Xiaomi has launched the Mijia Wireless Floor Scrubber 5 Max on its Xiaomi Youpin platform. The new device is priced at 3,599 yuan (~$520) and features advanced cleaning technology, including a 160°C direct steam spray system and 28,000Pa suction power.

The Mijia Wireless Floor Scrubber 5 Max uses a triple cleaning system that combines steam, foam, and hot water. This system tackles tough dirt, grease, and sticky messes on hard floors. The device delivers 160°C direct steam, which dissolves grime, removes tough stains, and sterilizes surfaces. Xiaomi has equipped the scrubber with a 300W boiler system that generates steam quickly, allowing users to start cleaning without long wait times.
The floor scrubber sprays dense foam to break down oily stains and uses a 90°C hot water feature to soften sugar-based residues like juice or syrup. Xiaomi has designed this multi-stage cleaning process to handle different types of messes efficiently.
The device features a 28,000Pa suction motor with a 168AW maximum input, a roller brush for wet and dry debris, and a PPA shark-tooth comb scraper with a four-layer anti-tangle system to prevent hair clogs.
Xiaomi has also included edge-cleaning technology that uses an arm and infrared sensors to clean close to walls, furniture legs, and cabinet edges. The floor scrubber can reach gaps as narrow as 11mm, making it effective for cleaning hard-to-reach areas.
The device includes a self-cleaning system that uses 100°C boiling water to sanitize the roller brush and flush the wastewater pipe. After cleaning, the roller undergoes hot air drying to prevent mold and odors.
The Mijia Wireless Floor Scrubber 5 Max is powered by a 6,300mAh battery, which provides up to 70 minutes of runtime. The device can clean homes of up to 420 square meters on a single charge. It features a 1000mL clean water tank and a 700mL dirty water tank for extended cleaning sessions.
The floor scrubber integrates with HyperOS Connect and Mijia app, allowing users to control cleaning modes, monitor battery life, and adjust power assist. It also features an LCD color display for modes, alerts, and battery status.
