The OnePlus Ace series is an exclusive lineup to China, with certain models getting a rebrand for the global market. So far, we have seen multiple models from the Ace 5 family in rumors, certifications, and benchmarks. Recently, an Ace 5 Ultra model also leaked, and now, more details have been shared by a known tipster. So here’s what we know.
OnePlus Ace 5 Ultra: Gaming phone with flagship specs
The latest information arrives from Digital Chat Station, who shared the details on Weibo. The OnePlus Ace 5 Ultra moniker was confirmed a couple of weeks earlier via retail box image. Now, the latest specs leak confirmed that it is a gaming smartphone. DCS claims that the device is focusing on gaming and esports and will sport a 144Hz display. While the company has released high 120Hz screens on its flagship phones, this would mark the first time that a OnePlus device got a 144Hz refresh rate.

Taking advantage of the high refresh rate, the Ace 5 Ultra is expected to be equipped with MediaTek’s latest and greatest Dimensity 9400+ SoC. The tipster adds that the gaming flagship will also come with a gaming core that will help improve the gaming experience. In other words, this could be a software or hardware component that reduces latency or gives more performance to the game being run. Unfortunately, that is all the information shared in this leak, so stick around for more updates.
In related news, the OnePlus Ace 5 Supreme Edition recently surfaced on the GeekBench platform with the Dimensity 9400+. Meanwhile, the Ace 5 series is expected to debut later this month and may introduce the new Dimensity 9400e chipset as well.
