Tecno is gearing up to introduce its new Pova Curve 5G smartphone in India, with the launch confirmed for May 29 at noon local time. Teasers shared by Tecno India and Flipkart have revealed design elements and some feature highlights ahead of the official debut.
Tecno Pova Curve 5G design revealed
The Tecno Pova Curve 5G is set to arrive with a futuristic design inspired by starship aerodynamics. It will feature a curved AMOLED display and will be available in black, silver, and teal colorways.
The Pova Curve 5G’s rear panel has a unique triangular camera module that houses dual camera sensors and an LED flash, arranged vertically. The text imprinted alongside the camera module confirms that it features a 64-megapixel primary camera. The device seems to be equipped with an in-screen fingerprint sensor for security.
The Pova Curve 5G is designed to deliver reliable 5G connectivity and comes with Tecno’s Intelligent Signal Hub System for enhanced network coverage. It will come equipped with Tecno’s ELLA voice assistant. ELLA brings a suite of AI-driven features like AI Privacy Blurring and Circle to Search, designed to provide a smarter and safer user experience
Tecno Pova Curve 5G specifications (rumored)
According to reports, the Tecno Pova Curve 5G will feature an FHD+ AMOLED screen and the MediaTek Dimensity 7300 chipset. It will be offered in configurations of 6GB RAM + 128GB storage and 8GB RAM + 128GB storage. Reports suggest that the device could feature a 5,500mAh battery and may support 45W charging.
Flipkart will be the exclusive online retailer for the Pova Curve 5G, while offline availability will be through various retail outlets across India.
