Xiaomi is almost ready to release the much-anticipated HyperOS 2.2 update to its devices. While the official changelog is still under the cover, we expect many improvements across the system and some UI refreshes as well. We might also see a few new features and, of course, a better integration of the Xiaomi ecosystem.
If you have a Xiaomi device running HyperOS 2, you might wonder when it’s your turn for the HyperOS 2.2 upgrade. Well, we have a potential list of devices below that will likely be included in the first batch of the rollout.
HyperOS 2.2 update will initially roll out to these devices
Just to clarify things, Xiaomi has not announced which devices will be updated to HyperOS 2.2 or the list of devices included in the first batch of the rollout. However, folks at XiaomiTime have discovered twelve Xiaomi devices in the HyperOS source code with the new firmware version. This means that the new HyperOS build is ready for these devices, and based on that, we’ve prepared the following list:
- POCO F7 / REDMI Turbo 4 Pro
- POCO M7 Pro 5G / Redmi Note 14
- POCO X7 / Redmi Note 14 Pro
- Redmi K70 / POCO F6 Pro
- Redmi K70E / POCO X6 Pro
- Xiaomi 14
- Xiaomi 14 Pro
- Xiaomi 14 Ultra
- Xiaomi 15
- Xiaomi 15 Pro
- Xiaomi 15 Ultra
- Xiaomi Pad 6S Pro 12.4
These Xiaomi smartphones are likely to get the HyperOS 2.2 before most other Xiaomi devices once the rollout kicks off. However, since the information isn’t directly coming from Xiaomi, I’d recommend taking it with a pinch of salt.
As always, the rollout should begin in China first before reaching global users. Xiaomi users can look for new updates by going to Settings > About Phone > System Update.
