Why I Recommend It
The Jabra Elite 7 Active is a top choice for gym-goers who need earbuds that can keep up with an active lifestyle. These earbuds feature ShakeGrip technology, ensuring a secure fit even during the most intense workouts. This is one of the most stable earbuds without a hook system that I have used to date and they stay put even when things get sweaty.
The sound quality is excellent, something I am definitely not used to with sports earbuds which tend to prioritise other aspects of the product and tend to have a very basic mass appealing tuning. Instead, the Jabras displayed excellent clear midrange with lots of separation in instrumental passages. This leads me to recommend it as a versatile earphone that can be used daily for elevated listening and not just as a sports-related product.
I also like customizable EQ settings that allow you to fine-tune the audio to your liking. The battery life is also impressive, Jabra claims up to 8 hours on a single charge and I got 7.5 which I think is great considering how often companies tend to skew these stats. It also comes with an additional 22 hours provided by the charging case.
The down sides were that the case doesn’t support wireless charging and the earbuds have a slightly bulky design so are suitable only for medium and large-sized ears. Overall, the Jabra Elite 7 Active offers a great balance of performance, durability, and comfort for gym goers.
