BenQ LK830ST and LH830ST Projectors Offer 120Hz Refresh, 4,000 Lumens, and 30,000-Hour Life

BenQ has announced two new short-throw laser projectors, the LK830ST and LH830ST, designed for entertainment, education, and simulation setups. The LK830ST offers 4K UHD resolution (3840 x 2160 pixels), while the LH830ST delivers Full HD (1920 x 1080 pixels). Both models come with a brightness of 4,000 ANSI lumens and cover 93 percent of the Rec. 709 color space.

Each projector measures 279 x 121 x 229 mm and weighs 3.4 kg. They are compact, easy to carry, and simple to install. With a short-throw ratio of 0.496 and a vertical offset of 115 percent, they can project screen sizes from 70 to 300 inches in small spaces.

Both models support ceiling and wall mounting, portrait mode, and 360-degree projection. These features make them suitable for use in theme parks, museums, interactive classrooms, and simulation rooms. The projectors include HDMI, LAN, USB, and RS-232 ports for smooth integration with existing AV setups. A built-in 15-watt speaker handles basic audio needs.

For fast-moving visuals such as gaming, sports, or training simulations, both models support a refresh rate of up to 120 Hz. This allows smoother playback with minimal lag or motion blur.

The projectors come factory-calibrated for white balance, which is useful for multiscreen setups and edge blending. Features like 2D keystone correction and Corner Fit help align images on uneven or angled surfaces.

The laser light source lasts up to 30,000 hours in Eco mode. The projectors are IP6X certified to prevent dust damage, and optional dust filter housings are available.

Pricing and Availability

The LK830ST will be available in September for €2,399. The LH830ST will cost €1,899. Both prices include VAT.
