KEF has introduced Coda W, a compact all-in-one wireless hi-fi speaker designed to serve both turntables and streaming sources. Priced at $999.99, the two-speaker system is slated as a modern nod to the original Coda line.

Listeners get HDMI ARC for TV duty, a built-in phono stage for plug-and-play vinyl, Bluetooth 5.4 with aptX Adaptive and aptX Lossless, and USB-C that handles up to 24-bit/192kHz for desktop use. Five finishes are listed: Vintage Burgundy, Nickel Grey, Moss Green, Midnight Blue, and Dark Titanium.

Key details include a 5.25″ 12th-generation Uni-Q driver array per speaker and KEF’s Music Integrity Engine DSP, with a stated combined system power of 200W and dedicated amplification in each cabinet. A subwoofer output is provided; KEF’s KW1 wireless sub adapter is optional. An 8-meter C-Link interspeaker cable is also optional; a 3-meter cable is included.

“Our goal has always been to deliver the most authentic sound possible – the kind that forges an emotional connection,” said Grace Lo, President and Head of Global Marketing at KEF. “We designed the Coda W for those of us who love the ritual of vinyl—the magic of dropping a needle on a record, that moment of anticipation. With Coda W, you can get completely immersed in the depth of your records, appreciating the richness and nuance in every note, then switch to streaming a new track seamlessly. It’s about rediscovering your favorite songs like never before.”
