Ayaneo Launches Pocket Air Mini × B.Duck Limited Edition Handheld

Ayaneo has released the Pocket Air Mini x B.Duck Limited Edition, a playful take on its popular retro handheld gaming console. This special edition celebrates the Year of the Horse Spring Festival with a design inspired by the cheerful B.Duck character.

The Pocket Air Mini, launched last year, established itself as an affordable retro handheld with strong performance and a nostalgic design. Ayaneo has now expanded the lineup with the B.Duck Limited Edition, which features a bold yellow color scheme and duck-themed accents while maintaining the same technical specifications as the original model.

The Pocket Air Mini uses a 4.2-inch LCD display with a 1280 x 960 resolution and a 4:3 aspect ratio for a classic gaming experience. The device runs on an MTK G90T octa-core processor, which includes two Cortex-A76 cores and six Cortex-A55 cores, alongside a Mali-G76 MP4 GPU.

Ayaneo has included Hall-effect joysticks and triggers for precise controls. The active cooling system with a fan ensures stable performance during extended gaming sessions. The device features a 4500mAh battery, which supports PD 18W fast charging.

The handheld offers 2GB/32GB and 3GB/64GB configurations for memory and storage. It supports Wi-Fi 5 and Bluetooth 5.0 for wireless connectivity. The device includes a USB Type-C port, a 3.5mm headphone jack, and a microSD card slot for expanded storage options.

The device runs on Android 11 and includes a customized software ecosystem. Gamers can access features like a retro game frontend, performance modes, global monitoring, customizable fan curves, and key mapping.
