Canon India has announced two significant initiatives aimed at strengthening its engagement with creators and retailers. The company has revealed details about ‘Deep Dive,’ a learning-based programme for aspiring filmmakers and photographers, and ‘Retail Utsav,’ a nationwide drive to connect with retail partners.
Deep Dive for creators

In collaboration with IFP, Canon India has launched ‘Deep Dive,’ an immersive masterclass designed to train visual storytellers across filmmaking, photography, and videography. The program allows participants to experience advanced imaging technology from Canon while learning the complete workflow from planning to post-production.
Industry experts, including cinematographers Santosh Sivan, Ravi K Chandran, and Sudeep Chatterjee, along with Canon Ambassadors, lead the sessions. The masterclass also covers color grading, LUTs, and post-production, with recent editions held in Gurgaon, Hyderabad, and Mumbai. The initiative is being expanded to more cities in the coming months, providing aspiring creators with access to industry veterans and practical guidance.
Retail Utsav engagement
Alongside creator-focused efforts, Canon India has launched ‘Retail Utsav,’ a large-scale retailer engagement program covering over 45 cities and connecting with more than 4,000 partners. The initiative highlights Canon’s MegaTank printers, which have completed 10 years in the Indian market, and introduces gamified activities, display initiatives, and reward-based participation.
Retail Utsav is designed to build festive momentum by fostering collaboration, sharing knowledge on Canon’s printer categories, and recognizing loyalty among retailers. Cities including Delhi, Mumbai, Bengaluru, Kolkata, Guwahati, Bhopal, Surat, and Cochin are part of this outreach, ensuring widespread regional participation.
