HyperOS 3 is a major upgrade for Xiaomi devices, bringing a refreshed UI with Xiaomi HyperIsland, expanded AI features, and deeper cross-device integration, particularly with Apple devices. There are also dozens of under-the-hood improvements to further improve the software’s smoothness, performance, and battery efficiency.

The Android 16-based update is already rolling out in China, and it will soon begin rolling out to the rest of the world. But obviously, it’s not coming to every Xiaomi device out there. Xiaomi plans to begin the rollout of HyperOS 3 later this month, starting with the high-end Xiaomi 15 series. The update will quickly expand to cover the Redmi Note 14 series, Poco F7 series, Poco X7 series, and Xiaomi Pad 7 series by next month.

The rollout should cover most eligible devices by December, with the remaining devices getting the HyperOS 3 update early next year. You can look at the complete HyperOS 3 rollout plan here.
