EcoFlow has introduced the Delta 3 Classic portable power station, expanding its backup energy lineup with a compact battery system designed for households, remote workers, and outdoor users who increasingly rely on portable power during outages or off-grid situations.
The launch reflects a broader shift in the portable energy market, where battery stations are evolving from camping accessories into everyday home backup tools that support essential electronics and appliances during temporary grid interruptions.
EcoFlow places the Delta 3 Classic in the mid-capacity portable power category, with a 1024Wh battery and 1800W continuous output, enabling it to power appliances such as refrigerators, laptops, routers, televisions, and small kitchen equipment.
The system can also handle higher startup power with a 3600W surge output, enabling short bursts of energy demand when devices such as electric kettles, coffee makers, or power tools require extra electricity at startup.
Backup power designed for everyday electronics
Portable battery stations have increasingly entered the home energy conversation as extreme weather events, remote work setups, and rising electricity concerns encourage households to secure small-scale backup power for essential devices.

EcoFlow equips the Delta 3 Classic with an automatic uninterruptible power supply function that switches in about 10 milliseconds, allowing sensitive electronics such as desktop computers, routers, and NAS storage systems to remain powered during sudden outages.
The system uses lithium iron phosphate battery chemistry, a battery type widely used in electric vehicles because it prioritises improved thermal stability, longer lifespan, and consistent performance across repeated charging cycles.
The company states that the battery system is designed to deliver roughly ten years of reliable operation, which reflects confidence in the durability expectations associated with lithium iron phosphate batteries.
Fast charging and multiple energy sources
EcoFlow includes multiple charging methods for the Delta 3 Classic, allowing the power station to recharge from standard wall outlets, solar panels, vehicle charging systems, or hybrid generators, depending on available power sources.
AC charging can replenish the battery from 0 to 80 percent in around 45 minutes, while a full recharge takes approximately one hour when using the device’s high-speed charging mode.
Solar charging supports up to 500W of solar input, allowing the battery system to reach full capacity in roughly 2.5 hours under favourable sunlight conditions when paired with compatible solar panels.

Meanwhile, the unit weighs around 12.1 kilograms and measures roughly 398 by 200 by 283 millimetres, placing it within the portable power category that balances household-level output with transportable size.
EcoFlow also includes WiFi and Bluetooth connectivity alongside mobile app controls, allowing users to monitor power usage, schedule charging, and manage energy output through the EcoFlow companion application.
EcoFlow has not yet confirmed final UK pricing for the Delta 3 Classic, though the device is expected to roll out in the coming months.
