Why I Recommend It
I first saw this in Munich as a friend was preparing to travel with his DJ equipment. He used this stand in the club and brought it with him everywhere he went. I took a loan of one, and for the right person, this is a superb bit of kit that few people know about, especially if you are someone who travels a lot but has been let down by cheap solutions.
The Reloop stand folds completely down on itself to a flat position, but when assembling, you can choose from multiple heights and positions depending on your workflow. I especially like that it can be used in a canvas style format with a tablet if you want to get creative, and when in that position, it has very minimal bounce when you are drawing (or in my case, editing video on Lumafusion).
The integrated dock even feels like overkill, offering a USB-C PD port along with 4x USB-A ports in the left arm as well as a further PD port for charging.
My only grip is that it’s very industrial-looking and doesn’t have the same aesthetic advantages that the Spigen I mentioned above does. However, this one is for a road warrior or someone who doesn’t intend to use the laptop stand as a piece of furniture rather than a piece of functional equipment. Regardless, it’s my number 2 choice in the premium laptop stand category and will fit a lot of people’s needs in ways the Spigen can’t.
