Barely months after the Moto G 2025 and Moto G Power 2025 hit shelves, leaked renders reveal Motorola’s next budget champs: the Moto G 2026 and Moto G Power 2026. Sporting designs close to their predecessors, these phones promise 50MP cameras and Pantone colors.
Leaked renders show both sticking to the 2025 models’ vibe—rumored to pack 6.7-6.8-inch displays and triple-camera setups, including a 50MP main sensor with OIS, an 8MP ultrawide, and an ambient light sensor posing as a third lens.

The Moto G 2026 (model XT2613-1) rocks a vegan leather back in Pantone 2376C, a slate-blue hue, while the Moto G Power 2026 (XT2615-1) opts for a plastic back in Pantone 431C, per Android Headlines. The Power model looks chunkier, likely packing a 5,000mAh battery like its predecessor’s.
Both run Android 16, possibly with a MediaTek Dimensity 6400, a step up from 2025’s Dimensity 6300. To recall, both the Moto G 2025 and G Power 2025 offered an optional vegan leather back, launched with Android 15, and came with a promise of two major Android updates.
No firm launch date yet, but a January 2026 reveal post-CES seems likely, mirroring the Moto G 2025’s $199 and G Power 2025’s $299 US pricing. A December 2025 release in markets like India is also being considered, following Motorola’s typical rollout pattern. With IP68 durability and 30W charging expected, these budget phones aim to keep the brand’s bang-for-buck crown. Will minor tweaks and fresh colors cut it, or are bigger upgrades hiding? More leaks should spill the beans soon.
