Samsung has officially launched the Galaxy A07 in Indonesia, adding a new option to its entry-level A-series lineup. The phone aims to balance affordability with features like a high-refresh display, long-term software support, and a durable build.

The Galaxy A07 comes with a 6.7-inch HD+ display that supports a 90Hz refresh rate for smoother scrolling and video playback. Under the hood, it runs on MediaTek’s Helio G99 processor, paired with up to 8GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage. Storage expansion up to 2TB is supported via microSD.
For cameras, Samsung has equipped the device with a 50MP main rear sensor and an 8MP front camera. Security features include Samsung Knox Vault, an Auto Blocker to protect against malicious apps, and a side-mounted fingerprint scanner.
The phone is powered by a 5,000mAh battery with 25W fast charging. While this setup is fairly common in Galaxy phones, Samsung is sweetening the deal at launch by offering a free 25W travel adapter as a bonus. Customers will also get a 36GB XL data package and a 30% discount on Samsung Care+ for one or two years of total protection.
Galaxy A07 comes with an IP54 rating for splash and dust resistance and a Glass Fiber Reinforced Polymer back for added durability. Out of the box, it ships with Android 15 and One UI 7. Samsung has promised six years of software and security updates, which should keep the A07 supported until 2031.
But there’s one thing to keep in mind: the Helio G99 doesn’t support 5G, which might be a deal breaker for some users.
Price and availability
In Indonesia, the Galaxy A07 is priced at IDR 1,399,000 (around ₹7,700) for the 4GB/64GB model and goes up to IDR 2,299,000 (around ₹12,600) for the top-end 8GB/256GB variant. It is available in Green, Light Violet, and Black. Samsung is also offering launch promotions through its retail channels.
