Govee’s intriguing new Strip Light with Skyline Kit is now available, offering a fresh take on ambient lighting with a wall-mounted setup designed to create horizon inspired lighting to any room.
This isn’t a typical peel-and-stick LED strip, instead the Skyline Kit mounts between two walls – like a shower curtain pole – and is designed to throw a wide, soft glow upward, washing your walls and ceiling in color.
Govee says the floating wall-wash effect adds depth and atmosphere, turning flat surfaces into something closer to an urban sunset. Or maybe just a chill mood booster.
There are two size options: the 4-meter version costs $119.99, while the 6-meter model will set you back $149.99. Both are available now via Govee’s own store or from Amazon.
Wrapped in a slim white shell with brushed aluminum accents, the Skyline Kit keeps things sleek and modern and, since it mounts to the wall, it’s less likely to get knocked off or peeled away by curious kids or pets.
It has a 360-degree adjustable light bar so you can aim the glow just right without needing a degree in lighting design.
Using Govee’s LuminBlend tech, it promises to deliver smoother gradients and better color accuracy.
It processes RGB color with 16-bit precision and supports up to 281 trillion theoretical color combos, so you’ll probably never hit the same scene twice.
Speaking of scenes, Govee’s AI Lighting Bot lets you generate custom ones with a voice command or quick text prompt. Just say the mood and it’ll whip something up.
There are 120+ preset scenes, and you can link it with other Govee products using DreamView if you’re building out a more immersive smart lighting setup.
Of course, it works with the Govee Home app, but it’s also Matter enabled, so you’ll be able to control it through whatever smart home system you use.
