HKC G27H2Max Specifications

The G27H2Max features a 2560×1440 resolution Fast IPS panel with support for an overclocked 220Hz refresh rate. It delivers a 1ms GtG response time and a static contrast ratio of 1000:1.

The screen supports 8-bit color depth, SDR brightness of 350 nits, and HDR peak brightness of 400 nits. HKC has equipped the monitor with VESA DisplayHDR 400 certification for enhanced contrast and dynamic range.

The display covers 95% of the DCI-P3 color gamut and 125% of the sRGB color space. It includes professional-grade color calibration with an average ΔE of less than 2, allowing for accurate and vibrant color reproduction suitable for gaming and creative tasks.

HKC has integrated its own DIC (Dynamic Image Clarity) technology to reduce motion blur during fast-paced gaming. The monitor also features a hardware-level low blue light mode designed to minimize eye strain during long sessions without distorting color accuracy.

In terms of design, the G27H2Max uses an ultra-thin bezel layout and a compact hexagonal base. The base does not support height or tilt adjustments, but the monitor is compatible with 75x75mm VESA wall mounts.

The monitor supports Adaptive Sync to prevent screen tearing and includes features such as custom crosshairs, game timers, and visual presets for FPS, RPG, and racing games. These settings are designed to optimize the display for different game genres.

In terms of connectivity, it includes two HDMI 2.0 ports, one DisplayPort 1.4, and a 3.5mm audio jack. The monitor does not feature USB ports or built-in speakers.

In related news, MSI recently unveiled a 34-inch ultrawide curved monitor with a 240Hz refresh rate, HDR400, 4000:1 contrast ratio, and USB-C support. Meanwhile, ViewSonic has launched a 2K 320Hz Fast IPS gaming monitor at an unexpectedly low price.
