As Infinix gears up for the global launch of its GT Verse ecosystem—featuring the GT 30 Pro smartphone, the XPad GT gaming tablet, GT Buds, and more—the company is also quietly experimenting with bold new ideas. While the upcoming products target gamers with high refresh rate displays, powerful chipsets, and custom accessories, Infinix is simultaneously working on a prototype that takes mobile design in a new direction.

A working prototype from the GT series has surfaced, featuring a standout innovation: the GT DynaVue back panel. This panel introduces electrochromic technology—typically seen in aircraft windows and luxury vehicles—to the world of smartphones. What makes it compelling is its ability to react to specific actions.

Whether it’s an incoming call, launching a game, or switching to the camera, the back panel shifts its appearance dynamically, offering more than just decoration. Unlike RGB lighting, which stays on regardless of context, this third-generation electrochromic film brings smarter responsiveness. It spans a large area of the rear panel without affecting usability, thanks to flexible and stable materials.

This reactivity adds an extra layer of engagement for users, potentially shaping the future of gaming phone aesthetics. Though it’s not meant for commercial release just yet, the working prototype shows how mobile designs might evolve in coming years.

The GT 30 Pro is expected to be the performance-focused heart of the GT Verse. According to early benchmarks, it might pack a Dimensity 8350 chipset and 12GB of RAM. Alongside it, the XPad GT gaming tablet will feature a 144Hz display, Snapdragon 888 chipset, and a hefty 10,000mAh battery with 33W charging. The tablet also supports AI tools like Folax and has an eight-speaker setup for immersive sound. These, along with other accessories like the GT Buds, power bank, and cooling fan, are set to debut globally this month.
