Instagram’s ‘Blend’ feature began on Thursday as a new co -operative feed for users as a new coordinator. The photo and video sharing service states that the new feature works directly like messages (DM), and users can invite their friends to join the mixture. Once the user accepts the application of the mixture, the Instagram service will automatically recommend rails for both users as part of the released feed, as part of the released feed. These recommendations are unique to mix members and are based on consumer activity on the platform.
Instagram Blend Cooperative Fed only offers inviting access
Before launching on Thursday, the company spent more than a year on Instagram testing the compound feature. It was first seen on Instagram in March 2024, and the platform has increased availability for more consumers in the past few months. Before announcing the platform rollout, Gadget 360 was able to test this feature.
Mixing feature on Instagram (Tap to spread)
Instagram says the mixture is just one invitation feed that allows users to view custom feeds of rails through DM chat. This feed is personal to each other based on their activity on Instagram. Consumers need to invite a friend to join the mixture. Once the application is accepted, any rail sent to the chat will inform users and the mixture will be updated.
As part of the feature, the user who has joined the mixture will see who is recommended for each rail, even when the rails are sent by DM. While viewing the rails in the mixture, the user can respond through the message bar at the bottom of the screen, or quickly react with emoji. Users can also see the mix icon in their DMS, which appears in the upper part of the chat window next to audio call and video call buttons.
Gadget 360 tested the compound feature on Instagram, and works according to the feature ad. We were able to join the mixture after receiving the application, which is delivered as DM. Tapping Join The button enables both users the feature, and either the member can leave the mixture at any time.
