Now, a new Bloomberg report reveals that the company has started testing a flip phone.

According to the report, Apple has already tested a clamshell-style foldable iPhone, often referred to as the iPhone Flip. A known supply chain source has revealed that the company has moved beyond initial concept discussions and conducted internal testing, though it has not yet committed to mass production.
Earlier reports from reliable industry analysts also indicated that Apple was exploring a square, flip-style form factor, signaling broader experimentation with foldable designs beyond a single model.
