The iQOO 15’s launch event is scheduled for October 20 in China. Before the launch, tipster Digital Chat Station has released a new Weibo post revealing the entire specifications of the iQOO 15. Here’s a look at what’s packed inside iQOO’s upcoming flagship.
iQOO 15 specifications (rumored)
The iQOO 15 is officially confirmed to feature the Samsung M14 LEAD AMOLED 8T LTPO display that supports a 2K+ (3168 x 1440p) resolution and a 144Hz refresh rate. The tipster reveals that it will be a 6.85-inch panel with a flat design and rounded corners. He added that the screen will support manual full-screen brightness of 1000 nits. It will have an AR (anti-reflection) film and come integrated with an ultrasonic in-screen fingerprint sensor.
Under the hood, the iQOO 15 will feature the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset, a Q3 chip for enhanced graphics while gaming, and a massive 7,000mAh battery. The phone will support 100W wired and 40W wireless charging. While it is mentioned in the leak, the device is expected to ship with.
Coming to the camera sensors, the iQOO 15 will have a 32-megapixel selfie snapper on the front, and its back panel will feature a 50-megapixel main camera backed by a 1/1.56-inch sensor. The primary camera will be joined by a 50-megapixel ultra-wide lens and a 50-megapixel Sony IMX882 periscope telephoto camera with 3x optical zoom.
The leak concludes by stating that the iQOO 15 will also have other features like a 091640 large-sized x-axis linear motor for haptic feedback, symmetrical dual speakers, a USB-C (Gen 3.2) port, an 8K VC heat sink, and an IP68/69 rating. It will come preloaded with OriginOS 6-based Android 16.
