JBL has announced the launch of the Music Horizon 3 Bluetooth speaker in China. The multifunctional bedside device is now available for 1,099 yuan ($153) and serves as both a Bluetooth speaker and an alarm clock with FM radio support.
JBL Horizon 3 Specifications
The Horizon 3 features two 1.5-inch full-range drivers and dual passive radiators. JBL claims this setup delivers stereo audio with enhanced bass response, suitable for small to mid-sized rooms.
The speaker supports Bluetooth 5.3 for wireless streaming and FM radio playback using a bundled pig-tail antenna. The FM feature depends on local signal strength and allows users to set radio channels as alarm sounds.
JBL has equipped the Horizon 3 with a large digital display that shows the time clearly and adjusts its brightness according to ambient lighting conditions. The speaker includes a rotary knob and soft-touch controls for easy operation, even in low-light settings.
The device doubles as a customizable nightlight, with adjustable color temperature and brightness via the JBL One app. It includes a “Sunrise Wake-Up Alarm” that gradually brightens the light before triggering the alarm tone or FM radio. The alarm system also allows weekday scheduling and sunrise-style effects.
The speaker supports ambient sound playback for sleep assistance. By pressing and holding the main knob, users can activate sleep mode and choose from options like ocean waves, rainfall, or forest sounds.
The product measures 209 x 137 x 83 mm and weighs 0.78 kg. JBL states that it used recycled materials in the device and eco-friendly packaging with FSC-certified paper and soy-based ink.
