KTC has launched the M27U6, a 27-inch QD-Mini LED monitor that supports both 4K and high-refresh gaming modes. The monitor is priced at 1499 yuan ($212) during its introductory pre-sale period.

KTC M27U6 Specifications
The KTC M27U6 features a Fast IPS panel with a 3840×2160 resolution and supports a dual-mode display. It allows users to switch between 4K at 72Hz and 1080p at 144Hz. This setup gives the display the flexibility to support high-resolution workloads and fast-paced gaming scenarios. The IPS panel maintains 178-degree wide viewing angles and consistent color accuracy across different viewing positions.
The monitor uses a QD-Mini LED backlight system with 1152 local dimming zones and 1152 individual LEDs. Each LED corresponds to one dimming zone, which improves control over brightness and enhances overall contrast. It supports HDR1000 and delivers a peak brightness of 1000 nits in HDR mode. In SDR mode, the typical brightness reaches 400 nits.

KTC calibrates the M27U6 at the factory, ensuring professional-grade color accuracy. It supports 98% DCI-P3 coverage, 99% sRGB coverage, and has a ΔE value of less than 2. The panel reaches 148% color volume and supports 1.07 billion colors through an 8-bit + Hi-FRC system.
In gaming scenarios, the monitor achieves 2ms gray-to-gray (GTG) response time and 1ms MPRT. It supports Adaptive Sync and includes dynamic overdrive technology with five levels of adjustment. KTC has also added a dark-enhancement feature that improves visibility in shadowed areas without overexposing the image.
The M27U6 includes ergonomic features such as height adjustment, tilt, swivel, pivot, and support for 100×100mm VESA wall mounting. The monitor uses a five-way joystick for on-screen menu control and supports MCC software for adjustments via mouse.
Port options include one DisplayPort 1.4, two HDMI 2.0 ports, a USB 2.0 port, a 3.5mm headphone jack, and an AC power input.
In related news, the AOC Agon 25G4KUR has arrived in Europe with a 400 Hz Fast IPS panel aimed at competitive gaming, and Asus has introduced a budget-friendly 24.5-inch 1080p IPS monitor with a 120 Hz refresh rate, eye-care features, and built-in audio.
