Lava has announced a new smartphone under its budget lineup, the Lava Yuva Star 2. This phone has arrived as a successor to the original Yuva Sar, which debuted in August 2024. As per the official details shared by the brand, the phone is targeted at entry-level users with affordability in mind.

The Lava Yuva Star 2 features a large 6.75-inch HD+ screen. The device runs on Android 14 Go, offering a clean interface with no preloaded third-party apps.
Under the hood, the device is powered by an unspecified Unisoc chipset and paired with 4GB of RAM, along with an additional 4GB virtual RAM option. The internal storage is 64GB. A 5,000mAh battery powers the device, complemented by a 10W USB-C charger.

On the rear, it has a 13-megapixel AI-enabled dual camera setup, while the front features a 5-megapixel camera. For security, it is equipped with a side-mounted fingerprint sensor. Additional features include dust and water resistance, face unlock, anonymous call recording, and a gloss back that adds a premium touch to its design.

The Lava Yuva Star 2 is available in two colors: Radiant Black and Sparkling Ivory. It has arrived with a price tag of Rs 6,499 for the sole 4GB+64GB edition. The device is available for purchase through offline stores across the country. Lava has also included its signature Free Service@Home program, giving users added convenience for after-sales support.
