At the recently held MWC 2026 event, Lenovo revealed the Yoga Book Pro 3D Concept, a new laptop designed for creators who work with three-dimensional content. The company says interest in 3D creation tools is rising as more industries adopt interactive digital experiences in both consumer and enterprise environments. This trend is also driving demand for glasses-free 3D displays, a market that analysts expect to expand quickly and potentially triple between 2025 and 2032. At the same time, artificial intelligence is becoming a common tool in creative workflows, helping automate tasks such as rendering, editing, and asset generation.
The Yoga Book Pro 3D Concept focuses on letting creators work with 3D visuals directly on the laptop without requiring additional hardware. Its key feature is a glasses-free 3D display that allows users to see depth and spatial detail on screen without wearing specialized glasses. This makes it possible to examine shapes and adjust 3D models directly from the laptop.
The device uses dual Lenovo PureSight Pro Tandem OLED displays. According to Lenovo, these screens are designed to handle the complex interfaces typically found in 3D design software. The dual-screen layout also provides more workspace for timelines, editing tools, and preview windows that are commonly used during design or animation work.
Lenovo has also added AI-driven tools intended to simplify the process of building 3D content. The upper display supports a 2D-to-3D conversion feature powered by Lenovo’s AI software. Users can import a flat image and convert it into a three-dimensional model that can then be edited further. The system can also generate a surrounding environment based on prompts, allowing the object to be placed inside a scene for quick visualization.
Another feature included in the concept device is gesture control. An RGB camera tracks hand movements and enables zero-touch interaction. Users can rotate objects, zoom in, and manipulate models using hand gestures in front of the laptop.
Lenovo has not confirmed any plans to turn the Yoga Book Pro 3D Concept into a commercial product yet. Devices like this are often used to demonstrate new technologies rather than immediate retail plans. The glasses-free 3D display, AI-powered 2D to 3D conversion, and gesture controls show what Lenovo is exploring for future creative laptops.
