OnePlus gearing up for new tablet launch

OnePlus has been in the tablet market for a few years now and had a hit last year with the OnePlus Pad 2, which I was a big fan of and still use to this day as my go-to tablet.

On the OnePlus website, you can now see some details about the next tablet from OnePlus that is coming in a few days’ time. This is the OnePlus Pad 3, and it will be a step up from the previous device in two key areas if what I have learned transpires to be true.

The first area of improvement is that the OnePlus Pad 3 will feature the new Snapdragon 8 Elite, which was featured in the OnePlus 13 earlier this year, along with many other devices. This chip is incredibly powerful when needed, but also efficient when you don’t require the full capabilities. This bodes well for battery life, which was already a strong point of the Pad 2.

The next area is a bit more uncertain, but it seems the screen will grow slightly to a 13.3” display from the 12.1” we had the last time. Hopefully, they’ve managed to keep the body size similar to the previous generation, as I don’t want a massive tablet.

Time will tell in that one as we will need to wait for the official main launch, which is scheduled for 07:30 BST on the 5th of June. If you want to find out more and be in with a chance of winning one for free, then you can check this link and subscribe.

That is all we have for now, but rest assured, I will be keeping an eye on things over the next few days, and we will bring more information as and when we have it.
