Oppo is building anticipation for its upcoming Reno 14 series in China with a striking new campaign featuring popular South Korean singer Song Yuqi from (G)I-DLE. Embracing a fresh mermaid-inspired image under the theme “人鱼姬出没” (Mermaid Princess Appears), Yuqi has been announced as the face of the Reno 14 lineup.

Ahead of the official launch, Oppo will be running promotional installations across three cities in China:
- Chengdu · Dongjiao Memory – 1st to 14th May
- Chongqing · E’ling Erchang – 1st to 14th May
- Changsha · Chaozong Street – 1st to 28th May
Visitors can interact with the campaign between 1st and 7th May, post using hashtags like #OPPOReno14 and #五一偶遇宋雨琦, and stand a chance to win a new Reno14 smartphone and 10 exclusive Yuqi-themed gift packs. Although the official launch date isn’t confirmed, this campaign strongly hints at a mid-May 2025 unveiling.
Oppo Reno 14, Reno 14 Pro specifications (rumored)
According to early leaks, the standard Oppo Reno14 is expected to feature a 6.59-inch 1.5K LTPS OLED flat display with ultra-thin bezels. On the front, it houses a 50-megapixel camera, while the rear camera setup includes a 50-megapixel main sensor, an 8-megapixel secondary lens, and another 50-megapixel sensor based on the Samsung JN5. The phone is said to have a large battery exceeding 6,000mAh, supported by 80W fast charging.
The Reno 14 Pro, meanwhile, is expected to include a slightly larger 6.83-inch 1.5K LTPS OLED flat display with ultra-thin bezels. It will retain the 50-megapixel front camera but swap the regular telephoto lens at the back for a more advanced periscope telephoto camera, offering improved zoom performance. The Pro variant may also house a larger battery than the standard version while maintaining the same 80W fast charging support.
The Reno 14 series will be powered by the Dimensity 8350 chipset and Android 15 with ColorOS 15 on top. The lineup will come with a robust aluminum alloy side frame and offer IP68/IP69 ratings for water and dust resistance.
