Panasonic LUMIX S5 IIX Review

The camera burst shooting is fine, but its mechanical burst rate is slightly lower than the standard set by the existing hybrid cameras, such as the Nican Z6II, which shoots at a more rapidly 14 FPS. That said, burst shooting has always been a slight weak point of the S5 series, the original Panasonic Lomix S5 only manages more than 6 FPS. So this is usually an improvement. The S5 IIX also works very well with its electronic shutter, which speeds up to about 30 FPS.

In addition, it has a pre -burst capture mode that allows the shot to buffer the shots with half the press of the shutter button before saving a certain number of frames after completely suppressed the shutter. You can adjust the pre -time time between 0.5s, 1.0s, and 1.5s before the shutter press. This feature is useful if you cannot expect the moment to move an article, such as when the bird will fly.

The buffer of the camera is decent, though it has small number of raw frames before filling. Unfortunately, the camera also takes a long time to empty your buffer once a full, which can slow you down. JPEG, on the contrary, has no problem, and you can effectively shoot when shooting in JPEG format.
