Realme has extended its software update policy for select smartphones in the Realme 15 and Realme 14 series by one year.

The update covers the Realme 15 and Realme 15 Pro from the 15 series, and the Realme 14T, Realme 14 Pro, and Realme 14 Pro+ from the 14 series. These models will now get three Android OS updates and four years of security updates, matching the realme GT series. At launch, they were promised two Android OS updates and three years of security updates.
All the covered models were launched with Android 15. They will now receive updates up to Android 18 and security updates until 2028. The new policy does not apply to the realme 14x.
Francis Wong from realme said this extended update policy will also apply to all future Number Pro, Number, and Number T series devices. He added that details for the P Series will be announced soon.
Following this approach, the Realme P3, P3 Pro, and P3 Ultra, along with the upcoming realme P4 series, are also expected to get the same extended update support.
In other news, the Realme P4 Pro (RMX5116) has appeared on Geekbench, confirming it will run on Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 chipset. The phone scored 1216 in single-core and 3533 in multi-core tests. It will feature 12GB of RAM and an Android 15-based operating system.
