In October, Realme is expected to launch two flagship phones, namely the Realme GT 8 and GT 8 Pro, in China. Reliable tipster Digital Chat Station has been consistently sharing details about the upcoming flagship phones, including the Realme GT 8 series lineup. A fresh Weibo post released by the tipster highlights the key specifications of the Pro edition.

According to the tipster, the Realme GT 8 Pro will “disrupt the industry,” suggesting that it will pack groundbreaking specs and features. He previously claimed that the GT 8 Pro will be the company’s most premium phone ever.
He revealed in today’s leak that the Snapdragon 8 Elite 2 (SM8850)-powered flagship phone will feature a flat display that supports a 2K resolution. As per a previous leak, the device is said to be equipped with a 6.85-inch 2K OLED panel by Samsung equipped with AR anti-glare coating.
A significant upgrade will be seen in the camera department, as it is said to feature a 200-megapixel periscope telephoto lens backed by a large camera sensor. The phone is also tipped to have a large battery, along with an enhanced motor and speakers. For security and durability, it will reportedly feature a 3D ultrasonic in-display fingerprint sensor and a metal frame.
With these upgrades, the Realme GT 8 Pro is also expected to arrive with an expensive price tag. To recall, the Realme GT 7 Pro was priced at 3,599 Yuan ($500) at launch. While there is no price leak about the GT 8 Pro, the upgrades in departments like screen, processing power, and camera technology suggest that it may arrive with a 3,999 Yuan ($555) starting price.
The Realme GT 8, which is expected to launch with the Pro edition, will also feature the Snapdragon 8 Elite 2 chipset. Although specific details are not available, it is expected to arrive with an impressive display and a periscope telephoto camera.
