Xiaomi Bone Conduction Headphones 2 Specifications

The Bone Conduction Headphones 2 retain the familiar open-ear wraparound design seen in the 2022 model. Xiaomi uses a titanium alloy frame and skin-friendly silicone to ensure a lightweight, flexible, and stable fit during extended use. The latest version carries IP68 water and dust resistance, allowing submersion in up to 5 meters of water for up to two hours.

Xiaomi has introduced a new Swim Mode, developed in collaboration with Suunto. The mode includes a swimming-specific algorithm that tracks metrics such as pace, stroke count, distance, and breathing angle in real time, offering a training experience similar to that of high-end sports wearables.

The headphones feature 32GB of internal storage for offline playback, allowing music and podcasts to be played directly without a smartphone. They support various audio formats, including MP3, FLAC, WAV, AAC, M4A, and APE. It also comes with a dedicated toggle switch that lets users quickly switch between Bluetooth streaming and local playback.

Xiaomi has upgraded the audio system with a racetrack-shaped vibration unit that enhances bass and midrange output. The redesigned acoustic cavity aims to improve vocal clarity and overall sound separation. The headphones offer three audio modes: Daily, Outdoor, and Swimming, to match different listening environments.

The headphones offer up to 12 hours of battery life on a full charge, while a 10-minute quick charge provides up to three hours of playback. Xiaomi has included dual ENC microphones to enhance call clarity, along with support for dual-device Bluetooth connectivity. They also feature HyperOS Connect for smooth integration and quick pairing with other Xiaomi ecosystem devices.

In related news, Xiaomi recently launched the Mijia S1 1200G water purifier, capable of filling a full glass in just 2.8 seconds. The company has also introduced a new 12kg washer-dryer with smart drying, steam care, and HyperOS support.
