Xiaomi has released the Robot Vacuum 5 Series, which includes the Xiaomi Robot Vacuum 5 and Robot Vacuum 5 Pro. Both models come with 20000Pa suction power to handle dust, pet hair, and larger debris.
The Robot Vacuum 5 Pro uses dToF (Direct Time-of-Flight) Smart Retractable Radar, allowing it to clean under furniture with a clearance as low as 9.5cm. It is equipped with a triple-camera system that powers AI functions such as dirt recognition and obstacle avoidance, helping the device adjust cleaning strategies and move around clutter in real time. The base station supports 80°C hot-water mop washing, a Smart mode with preset water temperatures, and automatic rewash cycles when dirt is detected. These functions keep mop pads cleaner with less manual effort.
The Robot Vacuum 5 also provides the same 20000Pa suction and dToF radar but uses S-Cross dual-line structured light for obstacle detection. This system identifies irregular objects to avoid collisions while following efficient cleaning routes. Its base station supports customizable water temperature, self-cleaning trays, and two-hour hot-air drying, making upkeep simple.
Both models have a dual-extension mop arm and side brush that achieve full corner coverage. They are powered by a 5200mAh battery that delivers up to 140 minutes of runtime and can be fully charged in a single session to cover larger areas without interruption. Connectivity with the Xiaomi Smart Home app allows remote scheduling and cleaning mode selection. They also support Alexa and Google Assistant for voice control.

The Xiaomi Robot Vacuum 5 is priced at €699.99, while the Robot Vacuum 5 Pro costs €799.99. Both are now available through Xiaomi’s official website and authorized retailers.
