After listing it on its global website, Xiaomi has launched the Smart Projector L1 in the UK and several EU countries. It’s made for everyday use and easy to set up. The projector weighs 1.2kg and measures 118 × 142 × 176mm, making it small enough to carry around or place in any room.
Xiaomi Smart Projector L1 features
The projector delivers 1080p resolution (1920 × 1080 pixels). It uses an LCD display and a fully-sealed optical engine to block dust and extend its life. The lens offers high-light transmission for clearer, more accurate images. It projects between 40 to 120 inches, with 60 to 100 inches recommended. The 1.2:1 throw ratio makes it suitable for most spaces.
It produces up to 200 ISO Lumens of brightness, certified by SGS, for consistent image quality. Auto focus and automatic keystone correction help keep the picture sharp and properly aligned, even if the projector is moved or tilted (within a 15° angle). It also features automatic obstacle avoidance and screen alignment using built-in AI to adjust the image to the space available.
The L1 runs on Android TV OS and includes Google TV, with access to over 400,000 movies and shows. You can use Google Assistant with the remote for voice control. Google Cast is also built-in for easy streaming from phones and tablets.
Inside, it runs on an MT9630 chip with 2GB RAM and 16GB storage. Two 3W full-range speakers with Dolby Audio provide clear sound. The projector includes Wi-Fi (2.4GHz/5GHz) and Bluetooth 5.0. A low-noise dual-fan cooling system keeps it quiet at ≤30 dB in theater mode. It uses up to 72W of power, with standby power below 0.5W. Auto power-off is also supported.

The Xiaomi Smart Projector L1 is available through Xiaomi’s online store in the UK, the Netherlands, Spain, and Germany. It is priced at £169.99 or €199.99.
